Fundraising is critical to ensure that we are able to leverage all utility shareholder donations. Our development department focuses on generating operational and special project funding through private foundation grants, corporate sponsorship, government funding, United Way contributions, special events, individual and annual giving and general membership dues.

All donations to Dollar Energy Fund’s hardship funds are matched dollar for dollar by our utility partners. 100 percent of your donation and the matching dollars directly assist a low-income client in the form of a utility assistance grant applied to their utility bill.
