Management Team

Dollar Energy Fund’s management team is dedicated to the organization’s mission and clients. With over seven decades of combined non-profit management experience, the team’s visionary leadership has led to a number of organizational advancements.

Cindy Datig, Chief Executive Officer

Cindy Datig is the chief executive officer of the Dollar Energy Fund. From a background in psychiatric nursing to government, and finally into the world of nonprofit, Cindy has been committed to serving disadvantaged populations. She is active as a board member for several state and national organizations.

Cindy is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization, including program administration, community involvement, research, and fundraising. Cindy serves as the liaison between 160 community based organizations and 14 corporations. She reports to the board of directors.

Nick Meddis, Chief Financial Officer

Nick Meddis is the chief financial officer for Dollar Energy Fund. He has been with the organization since 1986. Prior to the Dollar Energy Fund, Nick worked in the Audit Department of Walt Disney World. Nick is responsible for budgeting, overseeing investments, financial reporting, and the overall internal operations of the organization. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, and Accounting from Thiel College.

Chad Quinn, Chief Operating Officer

Chad Quinn joined Dollar Energy Fund as director of development in 2006. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and brings approximately 10 years of business development and sales management experience to Dollar Energy Fund. Chad is responsible for expanding our programs and services by recruiting new utility partners and expanding our current business activities with our existing utility partners.

Sean Smiles, Chief Information Officer

With over fifteen years of experience in the information technology industry, Sean has spent his career creating new products, applying innovative ways to manage and tailor existing products, and demonstrating problem solving techniques using strong analytical skills and team collaboration. As the chief information officer at Dollar Energy Fund, Sean is responsible for the management of the organization's technical capacity, analytical and functional operations and a growing IT staff. In addition, Sean has created a Software as a Service product line comprised of custom created systems that support the administration of low-income utility assistance programs. Ensuring data accuracy, security, regulatory compliance, and integration of all systems is a top priority. Sean possesses a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems and Computer Science from Thiel College. He was a recipient of the Pittsburgh Technology Council's 2009 CIO of the Year award.

Sarah Kirk, Staff Accountant

Sarah joined Dollar Energy Fund in October 2006 as Staff Accountant to increase core capabilities in operations. She has 15 years of accounting and business management experience in non-profit human service organizations. Sarah has a Certificate in Management of Non-Profit Organizations from Robert Morris University and earned a Six Sigma Black Belt from Heritage Valley Health Systems.

Erin O'Donnell, PR/Fundraising Manager

Erin has been with the organization since 2000. During her time at Dollar Energy Fund, she has worked in a variety of positions including Utility Choice educator and customer service and training coordinator. Erin is responsible for fundraising and public relations activities. Erin holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.

Mary Sally, Customer Service Manager

Mary joined Dollar Energy Fund in August of 2002 bringing almost 30 years of call center experience. Presently, she is the customer service manager, responsible for managing the Hardship Program as well as other low-income programs for partner utility companies. Mary's previous experience was in retail credit and collections, where she worked as both a manager and a trainer.

Danielle Snidow, Director, West Virginia Utility Assistance Program

Danielle Snidow joined the Dollar Energy Fund, Inc. team in March 2008.  Danielle has a strong background in fundraising and over eight years experience working the in the West Virginia non-profit community. Her responsibilities as Director of the West Virginia Utility Assistance Program include establishing a network of Community Based Organization intake sites, creating an Advisory Board for the statewide program, engaging utility companies serving West Virginia households and raising funds for the grant pool. Danielle earned her master’s degree in Business Administration from Marshall University.

Lisa Stoebener, Human Resources Manager

Lisa Stoebener joined Dollar Energy in 2009.  She is responsible for all Human Resource functions including benefits, recruiting, and employee relations.  Lisa has six years of HR experience with a focus in recruiting and employee relations.  Lisa received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Westminster College.  She received her MBA from Robert Morris University.
